Surrounding The Taylor Tennis Center, Westwood Country Club features 12  Plexi-cushion courts and 6 clay courts,  and is viewed as the premier tennis facility in Austin, and certainly one of the finest in Texas.  The Club boasts a staff of five U.S. Professional Tennis Association certified tennis pros, who are readily available to help members take their game to the next level.

 Westwood's  tennis opportunities abound. Adults  choose from both inter-club and intra-club leagues.  Most popular  are the Women's Team Tennis of Austin (WTTA) for the ladies, while the men's most attended program is of an intra-club variety - Men's Draft League.  For over 40 years,  on Memorial weekend, Westwood has hosted one of the largest, most popular senior tournaments in the south - Westwood Senior Open.

Junior programs are a big deal at Westwood.  Having always been a family club first, Westwood boasts the largest junior program in Austin, catering to members' children beginning at age four.  Junior Rec, Junior Comp, and summer Camp Champion strive to improve skills in a nurturing setting that emphasizes fun. Many Comp juniors participate in state and local tournaments, and represent Team Westwood in a popular introductory inter-club league (JTT).

The Club's Pro Shop features a wide array of high quality tennis apparel and equipment, as well as 24-hour turn around on racquet stringing.  The very popular Court 7 Grill, located in The Taylor Tennis Center,  services tennis members lunch and dinner needs.
